Transportation

Home to the "Motor City," Michigan is known for its innovations in the automobile industry, and consquently highways and roads. Yet, the time has come for Detroiters and all Michiganders to envision transportation differently by creating policies that encourage new methods of getting from one place to another.

Our state can be a leader in transportation once again through developing cleaner technologies, expanding our public transit systems, and modeling our streets to allow for pedestraians, bicyclists, busses and trains.
